Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or location entered into a search tool passes to the third-party company that operates it. That company processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep a separate log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers receive routine technical details when a page loads, including:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that help show aggregate traffic patterns, such as popular pages and common exit points. Analytics providers assist with that measurement. A browser can block cookies, although some features may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Criminal-Record Data on File
This site neither compiles nor sells a database of personal criminal-record information. It explains how to reach custodians of Pulaski County material, including the Circuit Court Clerk, detention center, originating police agencies, Kentucky State Police Criminal Identification and Records Branch, and Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry. Visitor data is not assembled into third-party dossiers or consumer reports, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Their own privacy terms govern submitted information, retention, and sharing. We do not control those practices, so review the provider's policy before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Pulaski County offices, Kentucky courts, state agencies, legal resources, or commercial tools. Once a visitor follows an external link, that destination's privacy policy controls the visit.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices protect collected data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, however, and a breach cannot be ruled out.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 and will delete such data after receiving a valid notice.
Your Data Rights
Kentucky consumer-protection law, including the Kentucky Consumer Protection Act at KRS 367.110 through 367.300, may supply rights in addition to those listed here. The Kentucky Open Records Act governs public-agency records, not private website data. You may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
